Best food in the South Hills. The Colony is now Cafe Euro....The Tuscan Strip steak was tender and tasted great.....The menu is outstanding as well as the wine list...The decor is beautiful...Service is right on!. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
A traditional steak house, '60s style, where well-heeled diners feast upon exquisite cuts..
The Ambiance
Elegant, well-dressed couples and businessmen sit in comfortable chairs, served impeccably by tuxedoed waiters. While the dining appears formal, the mood is light--it's obvious that diners are having a wonderful time.
The Food
There are steaks and chops, and the best grilled calf's liver in the area. The house steak sauce is so good it is bottled and sold locally. Large sirloins and exceptionally tender filet mignons; seafood options are large lobsters and salmon fillets. The large house salad comes with a fixings tray that includes real bacon bits, capers and bleu cheese.
The Drink
Cocktails here are de rigueur, and are large and strong. One martini and the formality of the dining room disappears.
If You Order One Thing
Calf's liver, if you like it. If not, one of the perfectly grilled steaks. And don't miss the baked potato.
