Bad service, RUDE OWNER!!!. Took over 2 hours to get food and place was not even busy, screwed up order, owner came over and was VERY rude. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE EVER GOES HERE!!! Vincent, owner and Greentree mayer, maybe the rudest restaurant owner anyone will ever meet. I would rather starve than give him my money.
Out with Tomatoes, in with a new pizza place..
The Scene
A large dining area is separated by stucco rooflines, reminiscent of Italy...sort of. As with most pizza places, families dominate.
The Food
This is simple Italian fare, some at a high-quality level. Soups are homemade and delicious, as are the traditional appetizers such as stuffed hot peppers and polenta with hot sausage. Main dishes are generously portioned and those in-the-know go on Tuesday nights for George's homemade lasagna. Another favorite is pasta verdure, sauteed spinach in a ricotta cheese sauce, served over penne pasta. Two sandwiches stand out: a pulled lamb sandwich, served on foccacio bread and the Italian Stallion, an incredibly large sub served on a full loaf of Manicini's venerable Italian bread. This sandwich is easily enough to serve two or three, even four with a salad or soups.
