I am a native of Pittsburgh and an avid cigar smoker for 15 years...I have been in hundreds of cigar shops and when I am in Pittsburgh I love going to Poor Richards!! They have a fantastic selection of cigars and a well trained staff. They have always gone above and beyond the call of duty for me, not just for cigars but for cigar paraphnelia. i have sent many a freind in to see Jimmy personally and he has guided them to their palate and any accessories they might need. Great store @ a great downtown location. Keep up the good work!!

I will never go there again and I can assure you no one I know will either. I went in there to buy a new Zippo and several cigars. We spent more than a hundred dollars and then got treated like garbage. The guy working there was a total idiot. I can take a joke I'm not a serious person, I like to see that people have a little personality, I like to get ribbed but this guy was out of line and personally insulting to me and my friend. After being insulted for 10 mins I asked him if he could cut 2 of the cigars he begrudgingly obliged , when he took them out they had white on them. I asked if we should return them he said "no thats good". Now I'm no expert but I had heard of bloom before and didn't know the exact difference between bloom (which is good) and mold (which is bad) so I took the guys word for it. Turns out it was mold, I showed them to another friend of mine who knows cigars and he said it was mold. I was insulted, lied to and subsequently will never go back.
