Editorial Review for Asiago Euro-Cuisine – by Sam Edelmann

The Scene
Foodies ponder this dilemma on a regular basis. Well, they'll get no definitive answers from eating at Asiago Euro-Cuisine. Both cuisines are evenly represented, and both fare well. Lunch is always crowded here, with lines snaking out the door. Dinner is quieter and more relaxed, and served in large portions.

The Food
One of the signature items executive chef Yves Carreau whips up is the asparagus ravioli with a tomato and basil sauce. It's served as either an appetizer or an entree and is not to be missed. The fettucini and chicken diavolo, with hot peppers and Italian sausage also is a good choice; it really gets the adrenaline going. A more subtle dish of note is the Alsatian duck breast, a large portion cooked to dark-red perfection.

Asiago has it all: choice food, drink, service and ambience. We were extremely satisfied with our whole dining experience. The food at Asiago was top notch. As an appetizer we had the delightful asparagus ravioli. The presentation of the ravioli was almost as good as the flavor. Then, for the second course, we each had the distinctive gorgonzola salad. The combination of the ingredients in this salad were very enjoyable. The entrees we selected were the tasteful, well-seasoned cherry glazed duck and the savory filet mignon that was served with two sauces. Both of these entrees were tender cuts of meat and cooked to perfection. My husband and I took advantage of the exquisite selections of wine by glass, and after dinner cordials. The service was impeccable. Our server, Kelly was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Next time we will try to save room for dessert.

Pros: food, service, parking

I had my first date with my wife at Asiago five years ago; and ever since then that is where we celebrate our anniversary. I remember how concerned I was on that first date. I was so nervous before I got to the restaraunt, then to my surprise I found the establishment to be extremely classy and smooth. To follow up the atmosphere, the food was exemplary. It is our favorite place to dine in the city.

Pros: ambiance, food, service
