For hockey fans, this dining spot at the Ramada Plaza Suites is a major pit stop for pregame and postgame revels.. The Scene
Here a quack, there a quack, everywhere a quack, quack. If these walls could talk, there'd be bird calls in the air. With framed mallards adorning the walls, geese on the wallpaper, and ceramic, feathered figurines at the center of the bar, some would say the Ruddy Duck has taken the theme just a little too far. But the patrons--a combo of hotel guests and jersey-wearing Penguins fans en route to the nearby Mellon Arena--aren't the least bit ruffled by it.

The Food
Basics are all you'll get, but you'll get them done better at the Ruddy Duck than most of the reasonably priced restaurants nestled in hotel lobbies. A little at-odds with the atmosphere, the pasta and chicken dishes are distinctly Italian, but solid steak and fish entrees prevent the restaurant from being classified in any one category.
