I had suffered from chronic pain and tightness in my back for years until seeing Dr. Smooke. He is in it for the right reasons and is an expert on health.He didnt waste my time. He is to the point and does what he needs to do and gets you on your way. His office also has a very courteous and dedicated team of employees and I really enjoyed the massage therapist he has on site.

Dr Joel Smooke is a professional. I was in a really bad pain for many years (15) and I attended a lot of chiropractics in the past, I was resigned to live in constant pain until I found Dr Joel Smooke. He fixed my back and neck during a few series of visits, I was there every week, then every month, then every 3 months and suddenly I had been in really good shape for more than a year. Sometimes I visit him just to get adjusted my back and neck. Other members of my family are attending him too, as my daughter who is in college now, and she always asking to get an appointment when she is visiting us.

Awesome family atmosphere!. After having terrible back pain at 2am on a Saturday, I had a couple of days of pain. I called at 8:20 am on Monday and got an appointment that day for 9:15! I made it to my appointment five minutes late, but I only waited a few minutes in the waiting room before being ushered in to an exam room. I was questioned about my condition by a very nice woman and I only waited about five minutes more before being seen by Dr. Smooke.

He's a very professional doctor and knows what he's doing! He took the kinks out of my neck and back, cracked a couple of jokes, and used a fantastic massager on my back. I totally needed that! Then I was asked if I had the time for some electric therapy and I did. I'm glad I did! It really helped. I only wish I was going back tomorrow!

The waiting room is very nice and calming, with a huge fishtank, a nice tv, and a great selection of magazines. I didn't wait long enough to get to read through the magazine, but that's not a horrible thing, is it? Dr. Smooke's staff are very nice people and I've never felt as if I were interrupting them or irritating them.

And I've never felt as if Dr. Smooke was inappropriate in any way. Your back does go further than the top of your jeans, you know. He's a great guy and an expert. I agree with klws1234. As for the other person, Marthaj31, who said that he was seen out and acting a fool, that's his own time off the job. No one's out watching your friend, Martha, and what she's doing.

So many people are out looking for a quick buck these days, and they'll report anything as being inappropriate. Dr. Smooke is NOT like that. He's a very sweet man who has given my back the relief it needed. My only quibble would be that he doesn't have Saturday hours!

BEST IN THE EAST. I have been going to Dr. Smooke for almost 15 years. In my time seeing him I have had only the most professional, dignified and friendly experiences. He is a fun guy, but an expert at what he does. To read the review about him touching a woman's underwear and her top makes me ill. He has not only been my Doctor over the years, but has become a friend-that is what the entire office is like-a family. I am female, I have sent over 60 people to him who have also referred people, including children, teens and young adults-including business professionals, doctors, lawyers, home makers, etc., and never heard one negative comment about this man.

Dr. Smook's ethic's are impecable. I have never, in my over 15 years of being treated, been charged for services which I have not received. The only charges I ever had to pay were my co-payments and or deductibles. The person giving a bad review of him probably didn't want to pay her copay!!!!

Dr. Smooke was rated best Chiropractor in the East by the people in the Pittsburgh area for over 6 years. The reviewers who vote for him must all be pleased patient's without any negative moral's issues about him. Also, he takes care of many athletic teams who review his morals and standards.

People who complain about Dr. Smooke are few and far between. As I said before, any person giving a negative review probably didn't want to make their copayments and/or deductible.

One of the best I've had. I have gone to Dr. Smooke for a year and NEVER had any issues like these other two people mentioned. He has been very good in treating me, esp when I was 9 months pregnant. I now actually drive 20 minutes to get to him. My midwife recommended him to me and I would to anyone else to.

liar and a cheat. while he may appear to be a fun loving guy because he isn't. be careful and FOR SURE don't trust their billing because they lie, charge your insurance company for things that they don't do. should be brought up to an ethics committee. one friend told me he inappropriately touched her during an appointment (touched her underwear and rubbed his fingers under the top) and another friend said she saw him out one night completely drunk acting like a fool.

Pateints and business Asscoiates Beware!. Joel Smooke is a crook and extreme caution should be excersized before doing business with him. I advise you to get any payments from Dr. Smooke before providing goods or services. He will not pay you!
