Great Place, Wrong on Map. I had a facial, manicure, and pedicure. They were fabulous! Unfortunately, Citysearch's map incorrectly shows Janice's location. She is between Douglas and Hobart. Ask for directions when you make your appointment. It was well worth my search!

Wonderful wax. I only go to Janice for my waxing. I have had many bikini waxes and she is by far the best! She is so fast and applies a cream that soothes. I hardly ever have bumps afterward.

great sugar scrub!. I recently had a rose and champagne scented scrub - heavenly smell! It was followed by a buttercream massage. I felt so silky - it was a truly decadent experience!

Best Wax I Ever Had. I'm a crybaby when it comes to pain, but I was talked into having a wax job at Tip toToe. All my friends need to go here from now on! Janice was fast and the wax was just right to get the job done, without burning me. (I've heard horror stories about some other places.) I'm so relieved to find a place for this service. As money allows, I'll find out about her other services, too!

High-Quality Massages. I will only go to Janice for massages. She is extremely knowledgeable, intuitive, and versed in many different approaches to massage. I have a medical condition that makes me very achy and sensitive on a varying basis, and she not only remembers what areas of my body I've had trouble with in the past, but continually adjusts her approach to meet the needs and particularities of how I'm feeling on any given day.

She has healing hands!

This is a one-woman operation with individualized attention. Janice is as qualified as they come (not only massage, but facials, waxing, nails etc.). It isn't your typical 'schwanky,' uppity salon environment - and if that's what you are looking for you may be disappointed or turned off - but Tip to Toe is first rate in comfort, cleanliness, accommodation and professionalism.

Think of this place as the "personal trainer" of spas.. The Scene
You get one-on-one attention in a private atmosphere--a day spa, owned by Janice Puccio, who also performs all of the services. She sees only one client at a time, obviously, since she only has two hands. If you've had a hectic day and want to unwind without rubbing elbows with other clients or aren't in the mood for chit chat while you get your nails done, this is your haven.

Mind & Body
The day spa is small inside (just two rooms, and a shower), but the menu is full: manicures, pedicures, body treatments, massages, waxing and electrolysis are all available. Spa body treatments include a seaweed wrap, a European mud wrap, and a rose mud wrap, which is for sensitive skin.

Prime Pampering
Prices are reasonable. A full hour massage is $70, no matter which kind you choose, whether it be the "Swedish-Shiatsu" or the "Neuromuscular." Puccio also offers a "Prenatal Massage" intended to help relax and relieve lower back pain. A plain manicures is $17; a 1 hour pedicure is $45.

Relaxation done right... www.tiptotoedayspa com. I've never had a better massage... I've had massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, and waxing at Jan's shop. She does more, and all her services are extremely reasonable on pricing. I've enjoyed all of it - well maybe not the waxing, but she's very good at that, too. Her place is small and cozy; it'll set you at ease. Try her, and get some gift certificates, too, even for those who think they don't want to try spa services. One of my friends was shocked to actually enjoy her pedicure, and it was right before her wedding, so she was a bundle of nerves, and picky!
