Tips for Mediterranean Grill

Best Mediterranean food in Pittsburgh.
Having eaten at most of the Mediterranean establishments in the Pittsburgh area, I can comfortably say that the Mediterranean Grill is the best of the city. The food is consistently outstanding and a good bargain, particularly for lunch, when for less than $7 you can get a delicious falafel or kufta pita, stuffed with fresh and expertly seasoned goodies.
Amongst the items that I've tried, the falafel (best around) and Moussaka stand out. The latter is like a Middle-Eastern version of lasagna; it is excellent and very filling. The kabob's are great, too. Serving sizes are always generous, and the service is good.
Located in the basement of a larger complex, this place is easy to pass by without noticing, but don't miss a chance to go in and try the food.

Biggest secret in Pittsburgh.
You have to go to Mediterranean Grill!! Its random, downstairs spot is totally hidden from the outside world, but their food is amazing, their prices low, and its BYOB. What could be better? Great for a group to share a bunch of mezze, or just one person grabbing skewers of kebabs. Their lunch specials are great. TRY THEIR SALAD--the salad dressing is out of this world. I love this place!
