Best pancakes ever!
by kcolmer at Citysearch
Saw this on Diners Driveins and Dives and had to go there, best choice I made. Pancakes are the best I have ever eaten and the prices are very reasonable! If you like pancakes this is the place to go.
- Pros: excellent pancakes and sausage
- Cons: none
Great Spot

Their pancakes are big, fluffy, and unlike any I have had before. They are really heavy and filling and also really tasty. I am a breakfast food fan and I am now a Dor-Stop fan :)
- Pros: Unique Flavors
WONDERFUL BREAKFAST!!
by QueenieB at Citysearch
I am NOT usually a breakfast person! We live 2 1/2 hours away & needed to make a trip to the airport to Pittsburgh, PA. After hearing about this place on DINERS DRIVE-INS & DIVES my husband and we couldn't harly wait to give it a try!
The pumpkin pancakes are the BOMB!! Light and fluffy - dusted with powdered sugar - FULL of flavor!! (I had the potato pancakes - they were ok.) The pancakes were so good we went back the next morning AGAIN! This time my husband and I tried the raspberry stuffed french toast. It had a crust on the edge that gave a crispy crunch along with the zing of the filling - YUMMY!, and the JUMBOT done GUY's style with hot sausage and hot peppers was JAM-packed with surprising flavor!!
The service is quick and super friendly - the coffee is good and they keep you cup full - the prices are right in line! The place only seats about 40? You can see into the kitchen and hear them calling out the orders.
There is a WONDERFUL bakery just across and down the street a bit too!
The DOR-STOP is permanently marked as a favorite in our GARMIN and we will stop everytime we are in Pittsburgh! (They are only open for breakfast or lunch!!)
- Pros: good food - good coffee - great service
- Cons: small and a little hard to find the place - get there early to avoid a wait
not worth the time or money

Hard to believe that the Food network would visit this spot
You would do better to find a Bob Evans for breakfast
Pancakes had a strange after taste and color (looked like Georgia clay)
French toast was bad, I mean bad. coated in a weird looking topping,
- Pros: clean
- Cons: quality, taste and presentation of food
