ok food, bad feng shui. not so bad a place. when you walk in, the big sign they have is really in the way. but the service ain't so bad and the food is alright. just fine, sugary, artery clogging goodness. make sure to go the coin shop next door.

Great Food & Great Atmosphere!!!. I go to school out in Ohio and recommend Tom's diner to any of my friends that travel out to Pittsburgh. It is excellent!

Great food. Fair price.. I have never had a bad experience at Tom's Diner and I have been going there for years. I live in a suburb near Pittsburgh and have made many trips to the city just to eat at Tom's. The staff is always pleasant and the food is always prepared to my liking. Get the hot turkey sandwich, it may be the best meal ever.

Good food. Food was out very quick. The pricing was reasonable. All in all no complaints at all. I will be going back for sure.

Please vote Gyros as our National Food, and write-in "Tom" for President!. Nothing but great service here, and gyro meat as a substitue for nearly any meat ingredient in any dish. If you hace never experienced a "Super Gyro" along with curly fries w/cheese and a cold "brew-ski", well then, you haven't lived.

Open 24 hours for your dining enjoyment!

Service at all hours!!!. To put it simply, you can go to Tom' s Diner on W. Lib. at its busiest time all day (1:00am-3:00am weekends) and you will get the best service in the city. The workers have been there for as long as I have been eating there (5 years) and there is never a mistake made or time wasted. At full capacity I am waited on in minutes and my food is ALWAYS ready before I can ever finish my salad. Honestly, In over 100 trips to Tom's I have never once had to wait for ANYTHING!!! Your in and out and fully stuffed with the biggest and best gyro (yeero) ever in 20 minutes... for whatever else you might be doing at all hours of the night (great place to bring newly aquired friends)!

Minutes from the Liberty Tubes, this diner is the last stop for many weekend warriors.. The Scene
It doesn't look like a diner. It's a modern brick building, and quite large. There's not much to be said for the d?cor, but patrons couldn't care less. They come to Tom's for lots of good food at fair prices. Service is exceptionally friendly here, with seasoned waitresses constantly bringing coffee.

The Food
Open around the clock, they serve breakfast at all times, as well as sandwiches and full dinners. A major gyro theme runs through the menu, and this Greek specialty is served up in creative ways. There is the standard sandwich, a dinner with salad and fries, and the exceptional gyro omelet: gyro meat, peppers, and onions enveloped in three eggs. Calzones are popular at lunch and dinner. Another specialty is the Greek god line of sandwiches, with slaw and fries in the sandwich.
