Horrible Service, Horrible Food. The service is horrible. We just ordered a hamburger and fries from the "menu" that they created. When we got the order, they wrote on the bottom of the bag, "this is not a mcdonalds, its a pizza shop." When we called about this, they said the chef must've did that because he is an a**hole. I dont know about you but I've never known a chef to cook the food and bag it too. Never again will I order from here

NEW OWNERS DESTROY 40YR RESTAURANT TRADITION. LARRY N CAROLS, famous since 1970 for only TWO things:

1. Being open til 3:30am

2. Being open every day except Christmas & Thanksgiving

....for FORTY YEARS!!

And now, today, Memorial Day at 7:30pm, THEY ARE CLOSED. New hours til like 9pm every day, and NO LONGER HONORING HOLIDAY POLICY THAT MADE THEM FAMOUS since 1970.

WHY OH WHY DID THE OWNERS HAVE TO SELL OUT TO THESE NEW LOSERS ("THE NEW GENERATION OF OWNERS" THE MENUS SAY.)

DESTINED TO FAIL, YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST...

FAIL & FAIL BADLY.... SAY, FAIL STARTS WITH 'F' WHICH REMINDS ME, 'F' YOU LARRY N CAROLS NEW OWNERS!

What the F***?!?. I ordered a pizza today, Thursday July 8th, at 6:30 pm. It's now 8:18 pm and my pizza has just arrived and is now sitting in the oven as I write this. Not only were the service people on the phone insincere, but the pizza WAS COLD, oh AND almost 2 hours late. The deliver time was 45-60 mins, fail...If I DIDN'T have a snack in those two hours I would be stupid. Not only will I NEVER EVER order from this dump again, I will most certainly tell this story to as many people as I can.

A-holes. The people who work here have their heads up their asses. The retards told me they weren't taking orders at 11:30 on a Friday. One time I got a sicillian pizza with saran wrap on it and a quarter of it missing. The only reason I got it again was that it was so close. Now, I walk right past and go to Sorrentos.

best pizza in town. They have the most amazing pizza, great service, and low prices. It's affordable and delicious. If you are every around Oakland I strongly suggest you visit this place. It really is great, I eat there almost every week when in school.

meh.. the bacon and cheese fries were nasty :(

breadsticks and pizza were ok... i'd have to be drunk to want this again.

Best Service. Hi Im Nurse Wendy and I just love the service here. The driver was especailly nice as he waited for me to run upstairs to get extra money and he even called my coworker Dave to make sure I was ok. I highly reccomend this place.

Service? Are you crazy? It's the pizza!. Ok....Service? You want service, then go to a nice restaurant. You want some damn good pizza late late night, then you roll over there and pick some up yourself. They have a pizza there, the King Kong....it's as big as your kitchen table.....The pizza is tasty and if you call and order and pick it up, you'll be doin it the right way....Delivery? Uh, have patience, the pizza joint is located in the Oakland, home to many many college students that love pizza. So, patience....its not dominoes....Mmmmmm, Im hungry, Im callin them up and its after 1am, can dominoes do that?

Horrible, horrible service and not willing to fix mistakes. I placed an order, and they just forgot to record part of the order so when the food was delivered, part of the order was missing. I called to inform them and no one was willing to admit a mistake was made, there was no apology, and there was nothing done to try to make me happy and correct the mistake.

Rude Service filled with expletives. I placed an order with them online for two deluxe calzones and it arrived 45 minutes late. Understandably, the restaurant can be short-staffed on a Sunday night but not only was the delivery late, the delivery man addressed me very rudely and cursed me out. This was inexcusable behavior and bore a bad name for the restaurant. I called the restaurant's night manager who gave me nothing more than a snappy apology.

The calzones themselves were decently sized and filled with good oily ingredients but the crust was too thick for my liking.

I will remember to not tip the driver beforehand next time, IF I will even consider ordering from such an establishment.

*Update*

I gave them another try a year later and when I undertipped the driver (~10% on a $7 delivery) he later sent me a very rude text message calling me an "ignorant a**" and finished it off with "don't order food anymore a**hole"

Ok, I'll take your advice. You just lost my business and everyone in my apartment after I told them this story.
