I have been going to this shop for many
years not knowing that I have been over charged. People at this shop come across as professional and know what they are doing. they make a follow up phone call to see how the vehicle is doing. however recently i started to notice that it takes a very long time to get an appointment or service done. second, they charge you dealer prices. with the difference is that you don't get dealer's experience (shuttle service, genuine parts...etc)
examples: my sunroof drain was clogged. estimate was $100-200. went to a body shop, they fixed it for $25 no exaggeration.
Had my inspection done, they said i needed 2 new tires. it took me a week to replace them (they were under warranty from another tire shop) came back to pick up my stickers. the guy first said that I will not be charged again. all what's needed is the mechanic to re-inspect the tires. guess what? they said you drove the car and we have to charge you for reinspection. I paid $29 more.
I am very disappointed with how much I have been overcharged Definitely not going back.
I just took my car in this morning around 10:15 AM to get an inspection done. I came here because the garage is within walking distance of my home and also due to the positive reviews I've read online. When I arrived Brett took down my information in a patient manner, as I'm a new customer, while Nathan assisted. I just received a call a few minutes ago from Nathan, and my car passes inspection. I'm not a major car buff, but I do know when I'm getting scammed, so when he said there were no major problems but also recommended a new air filter, new wiper blades, and two new front tires I agreed because those are all of the things I knew going in that might be trouble spots for my car. I'm expecting to be able to pick my car up shortly, which makes today's experience very hassle-free and positive for me. I'd have no qualms about recommending Baum Boulevard Automotive to friends and family. In addition, I also liked how they have an electric car charging station. I drive a hybrid myself and always appreciate a garage that likes to be on the cutting-edge of "green" technologies. Two thumbs up!
You have great mechanics here that did a fantastic job (repairs) in my car at a great place, honestly with the great impression that I had gotten from here I recommend any one to come here and I will also continue to use your services. Man, very affordable!
I came in for a car inspection and they found the problem to my car thank god because I didn’t know what was going on. I found this place I am grateful I did the price was fair it didn’t seem high at all! Thank you guys for the great work my car runs wayyyy better!
Usual great service, including on-demand stand up comedy by Chuck. Thanks Baum Blvd. Auto.
good. As always, I had a very pleasant and thorough experience at Baum Blvd. Automotive. They are always straight forward and helpful in explaining what's going on with my vehicle. I have been bringing my car to them for over 3 years and they always give me reason to return.
cost efficient. The guys at Baum Boulevard auto are great. My wife and I take both of our cars here and they are always cost efficient and quick. Good job guys your really appreciated.
They completely screwed me out of $750.
I went to Baum Blvd Automotive about 2 and a 1/2 years ago for my annual inspection. I was told I needed to replace my front strut assembly on both sides. They upsold me, telling me that the better brand--at $200+ more--would last for the life of the car (i.e. 50,000). This came to $850.
Today, my mechanic, at a different garage, tells me, not only are these parts broken (even though I've only driven 2000 mi. since I left Baum Blvd) but that the strut assemblies are in fact generic, Japanese parts, that SHOULD have cost $400. Not the $850 I paid.
I was a) sold sub-par parts when I was told I was getting premium parts; b) overcharged by about $450; and c) am now paying for these parts TWICE because they have to be replaced.
I am beyond outraged at the blatant lack of ethics at this garage. Of course, they offered do to nothing to rectify their deception and downright robbery. Classy, guys.
DO NOT GO HERE! Seriously! If you must, make sure you check each part and get a second opinion on what it should cost. It is appalling what they can get away with.
Great Job. My dealership quoted me $2000 to repair an electrical problem. The guys at Baum fixed the issue for $60. Honest, quick and dependable. That's what I look for in a mechanic.
nice job. They are honest and forthright even when things are not going as expected. I really do trust them and thank them for their services. Keep up the good work, it is much appreciated.
