The location of this hotel means that it is filled year-round with a predictable rotation of guests. You will find parents sending off their collegiate offspring, sports fans in town for the big homecoming game and medical faculty attending conferences. The hotel is adjacent to the University of Pittsburg and within a mile of Carnegie Mellon and Duquesne Universities, Carlow and Chatham Colleges, and numerous medical facilities.

The Details
The exterior of this building is clean, friendly and efficient-looking, giving you an idea of what to expect once inside. The 132 guest rooms are nicely decorated with framed pastel prints and extra touches such as sofas and wallpaper trimming around the tops of the walls. They are equipped with large works desks, voice mail and data ports. A complimentary continental breakfast is served in the newly renovated lobby. Local calls and "USA Today" weekdays are free, as is coffee and tea round the clock in the lobby. There is a decent fitness center.
