Magical. Our evening was simply out of this world. The food was great the waiters very attentive and the view just breath taking. Le Mont's will always hold a special place in my heart.

Special Dining. I was very pleased with my dining experience in August, the food was great, the service was out of this world, very happy with dinner.

Terrible. When arrived dining room was practically empty, but had to wait 15 minutes to order a bottle of wine. Waiter did not tell you about different price for water at the beginning of the meal. Waiter stated that the special for the day was the Fish Sampler. She stated that the Lobster and Crab cakes were good size. When the meal came the lobster was good size but cold and very stingy, burnt on the bottom, and the crab cake was the size of a quarter. Even the salad was bad, way to much dressing. Worse place in Mt. Washington by far and I have eaten at them all numerous times. I will never return even if it was free.

Great view, high price. We ate at Lemont during a very slow night. As you might expect, the service was very good and the food arrived quickly. We thought the food was excellent though my swordfish bordered on bland. The desserts are fantastic. The wines however, are dramatically overpriced. You will have to scour the wine menu to find one under $100 and then you feel like a cheapskate ordering a "cheap" bottle. The view is to die for however and, if you can get past the wine prices, it's a great dining experience.

You pay a lot for the view!!!. My family and I went here for a post graduation dinner. We heard so much about this place. The view overlooking the city and water was breathtaking. The service was excellent. But a restaruant is not a restaurant if the food does not match everything else that comes along with it. We had a party of six and every single entree was below average. We ended up paying over $70 per person! What a disappointment.

Nice view, great desserts, bad food. Went there for a group catered event. The view was gorgeous, but the food is pretty bad. Only the beginning (the salad) and the end (dessert) were good. The meat entrees were barely edible and the other stuff was hardly impressive. There must be other restaurants on Mt. Washington with better food.

Commanding the best view of the city from Mt. Washington, this is an institution for elegant dining.. The Scene
From the rugs to the window treatments to the gilt-edged dinnerware, it is a cross between a restaurant and Fort Knox. The chairs, as well as the treatment received, make everyone feel comfortable. Service is impeccable; attentive and friendly without being overbearing, including a restroom attendant handing out towels.

The Menu
The menu is a throwback to earlier, more genteel times. How often do you see flaming chateaubriand for two or steak Diane prepared tableside? Stick to the restaurant's strengths, including any of the steak dishes and the rack of lamb. Despite the fact that it was recommended by a waiter, the roast raspberry duck was a disappointment. The duck was cooked right, but was tough, and the sauce was so sweet it overpowered the duck. The asparagus, carrots, and cabbage were cooked and spiced wonderfully. The creme brulee was very good, but better was the coconut macadamia pie.

Gonna lose a star. The best thing Le Mont has going is the view. Wait and bus staff are attentive, but hurried. Wine steward is helpful but not pushy. Waited over an hour from our salad to our entree (the waiter said a banquet was being served). The banquet no doubt were the people walking around in blue jeans. When the entree was served, the plate was hot but the food was cold. The bill has a tip line for the Maitre d'. Why? He should be tipped before seating. For a lousy table and no follow up..tip??
