The worst!. It was the absolute worst, expensive dinner I have had in a long time! The waiter was condescending and just plain rude, the food horrible and overpriced and when we said something when we left they laughed and said our next trip there would better...Ha! Like there will be a next time!

Best view in Pittsburgh. I absolutely love this place. My husband and I are from out of town. We first visited the LeMont on our honeymoon. Every year when we come to Pittsburgh for a Pens game, we go to the LeMont. The service is excellent. The view is breathtaking. The decor is very elegant. A very romantic fine dining establishment for dinner for 2 and a quiet night out and and excuse to dress up. The staff goes out of their way to make your experience a pleasant one and will cater to your every need. To top it off, the food is wonderful. My husband's steaks are always cooked to perfection and the seafood and chicken dishes (the sauces are divine) are also very pleasing to the palate. Food portions are good. Asparagus and other vegetables are perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this establishment. Your best bet to beat the crowds would be to go in the middle of the week (except valentine's, etc). Be prepared to annie up on the cash, but you will not regret the experience.

Nice place to eat. I was there with my husband few days ago and spent a great time. We both had roasted raspberry duck and both tasted a little different. Since we were seated not as close to the window as at Isabela on Grandview we were missing the view, but the rest was acceptable. I can't compare the quality of food with seven course menu in Isabela, but it was still o.k. We were treated very nice and had few glasses of wine that was just great. We may come back again.

Best View, Worst Service. Yes, the view is beautiful, but the service was so bad we had to laugh. We had to ask for a wine menu, a "hurried" waiter asked us after sitting for 15 minutes if anyone told us the specials. The answer was no. As another reviewer stated, the mashed potatoes ARE from a can! Any restaurant that hands me a a bill for $180 for 2 with tip, and serves canned mashed potatoes should be embarrassed. The food came out "almost warm", the sea bass was a mushy sponge, the crab cakes were good, but I can't get past the bad service, lack of food presentation and fake potatoes. Our dessert from "the cart" that rides around the dining room all night was tossed on our table, again no presentation.

The Le Mont is what it is, old school with a view. (Although the bad service is unacceptable) I am new to this area and can't reccommend another restaurant, but if you have $200 to spend on a nice dinner, do some homework, and don't spend it there!

Best View In Town. I just had LeMont for the first time and it proved to be a really good time. The food was delicious and they even cooked my steak right in front of me. It was also entertaining for the kids to see the fire in the pan while they cooked my bananas foster. I will defiantly eat at LeMont more often.
