A must-see for art and history buffs in Pittsburgh's East End..
The Scene
In Pittsburgh's East end, sits Henry Clay Frick's 5-acre estate with its collection of historic buildings and museums. From classic cars to fine art this complex holds quite a collection. Don't miss Cafe Frick, for high tea and dainty desserts.
The Collection
In addition to the art museum--which houses a fine collection of Flemish, French, and Italian paintings and other artwork--and the former residence of Mr. Frick, guests can visit the Car and Carriage Museum, Greenhouse, Museum Shop and Playhouse. The Car and Carriage Museum might be a good way to entice the auto-lover in your family to go with you to see the 1931 Pierce Arrow 43 Club Sedan and Mr. Frick's 1914 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost.
