Editorial Review for Idlewood Inn – by Jolie Kenney
In Short
Close to the Carnegie and Greentree neighborhoods near the latter's attendant hotels, this popular lounge attracts bikers, locals and out-of-towners. Dress is casual and no "bikers' colors" are allowed. The entire layout is open, with a spacious horseshoe shaped bar on one end, and two pool tables, a wood-burning fireplace, a jukebox and a small dancing area on the other.

Insider Tips
When to GoHappy hour is Monday through Friday from 5pm to 7pm. If you're looking for entertainment, not cheap drinks, then karaoke is on Thursday nights; a DJ spins tunes on Friday nights; Saturdays, you get both.

If you're looking for a local bar atmosphere & price but like to get a little loud, this is your place. Drinks are good, the low price makes them even better! The atmosphere reminds me a bit of cheers where everyone is welcome. Good mix of young & old, wild & sedated.
Pros: Price of Drinks, Friendly Service
Cons: fluctuates in popular
