The Best Ice Cream Anywhere In Pittsburgh Or The USA For That Matter!

The last review said this is located in Mckees Rocks, not true, close to Mckees Rocks but acutally in the Windgap section of Pittsburgh. And they do have the best ice cream in the 'burg bar none in my opinion. The last reviewer said he wanted a flavor called never too much chocolate. The largest cone is a soft serve cone and never too much chocolate is a hard ice cream sold by the scoop. The last review said Brusters is just down the road which is somewhat true, but the taste of Remember When ice cream can NEVER compare to Brusters in my opinion. And the service is simply wonderful. Also on Friday evenings they have a DJ named DooWop Dan who plays oldies. You can dance and have a great time. Last but not least the hot dogs are to die for. They are great. This is a wonderful place to take the family and one of the last truly great family owned ice cream shops in Pittsburgh.

Big Ice Cream Cones!

Remember When is located in beautiful McKees Rocks and the neighborhood is questionable at best. The small pink shack supposedly shells out the largest ice cream cone in Pittsburgh. I set out on a beautiful sunday evening to test this fact. I approached the window and told the cute girl I wanted the big cone. She didnt seem to understand but I told her Never Too Much Chocolate ( the flavor I selected). A minute or so later I got my cone ($4.75). Although, it was the biggest cone I've seen in Pittsburgh the taste left something to be desired. It was good but not the best. Brusters is just down the road from my house and is a lot better but at least they advertise truthfully.

The Best Ice Cream Store in The World!!!

The prices are low, and they have Pittsburgh's largest cone!! The burgers are to die for!!! This place is great!!
