Tom's, legendary southside dining.
There is nothing like sitting down to a hickory burger or a gigantic gyro with a side of Tom's fiery gyro fries on a saturday night after a tour of the nightlife on the southside.
So many Pittsburghers all sharing the same place to dine. The only part I miss is the legendary graffitti that used to lovingly adorn the walls. Were there famous stars sitting in the same booth you now are in? one could only wonder...I'd recommend any part of the menu to anyone who comes across this establishment of local culinary delight!!!

Jim's Judgement. The best breakfast in the southside, and an atmosphere that puts you in the mix between musicians, poets, aspiring writers, and the occasional crazy old man. I love the gyro omelette and the milkshakes. And the old fifties style seats and the window seat lets you watch the street for people you know or people to make fun of.

outstanding. I have eaten here many times and the food is cooked just right and the price is great, the service is a little slow but worth the waite.

good and slow. The food here is good diner food. Under no circumstances, however, should any diner take over 45 minutes to get scrambled eggs to your table at 7:15 AM on a Saturday. Could have been where we sitting, though. Sitting in non-smoking here is kind of an "out of sight, out of mind" experience.
