Terrible service, food was crap. Title says it all. We were not promptly greeted. When they asked how many people in our party I started to say "two" but the waitress sat us before I could finish. I had to ask 3 different waitresses for refills because our fat waitress was too busy flirting with the bartender to wait on us. When it was finally time to go she asked how everything was and I told her she looks like she eats more than she works with that fat ass. She was rude to us from that point on, but oh well. Also I would sooner eat a piece of sh it on a plate than that crappy steak. Screw this place…
Prime Rib was very good. The service was poor.. The Prime Rib was great. The strip steak was too fatty. The waitress was really bad. She was more concerned about getting off work early then taking care of her customers. On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give this place a 5…
Way better Steak places elsewhere - even for Pittsburgh. This place is a mockery of a Steakhouse. I've been to plenty of places for steak and none of them register as bad as this one. I seriously spent $70 on appetizers, glass of wine, NY strip, and filet mignon. This place should be embarrassed to call themselves a "steak house". I've had much better steak at Outback. I'm not recommending Outback either. I'd try Pittsburgh Rare or some other restaurant featuring steak. The steak was bland, dry, and tough. The wine was lousy and so were the salads that came with it. Plain and simple the food sucked. People that rate this place high, obviously have never had a good steak. I make better steaks at home. Bottom line this place is vastly overrated, not worth the money, and I will never return.…
owner is awful, steak was spoiled. went there for my mother's birthday, she's in from out of town and we wanted something nice. three of four dishes were good, one was completely spoiled and bad-smelling steak. they were also out of the bottle of wine we wanted to order. maybe they're cutting back to save money, but there's no excuse for serving perished steak. it was so bad my dad wouldn't take another or even look at steak after tasting it. then they charged him for his replacement pasta and the owner yelled at the wait staff in the back about how he wouldn't apologize because he didn't do anything wrong. the waitress was very nice, but we will never go back after seeing how awful the owner is. any other restaurant manager, and especially owner, would have at least not blamed the spoiled steak on the person it was served to.…
What a Letdown!. My boss was in town and I made reservations for dinner at the Pittsburgh Steak Company. The first trick was to find parking within a 1 or 2 mile walk of the restaurant - not really their fault though, that's the Southside! When we walked into the restaurant, there were only 3 tables in use, yet they crammed us back into some cubby hole with practically no light. Once the 4 of us ordered our meals - all various steak dishes - and they arrived, we knew why there wasn't any light. The presentation was pitiful and the steaks were absolutely the worst that any of us had ever eaten. The meat was tough and over cooked. Fortunately for me, my boss is a very forgiving sort and he didn't blame me for the disaster. Still, I was extremely embarrassed and will never go there again, nor recommend it to anyone that I want to remain friendly with.…
