RUDE bartenders!. WORST bartender i've EVER had! Let me start by saying this, I'd never been to Sunny Jim's before but people always warn me about the bartender there. Becca? Becky? Boy were they right. She was compltely rude and ignored us and when she finally did acknowledge us she was short with me and my friends. I ordered a long island and my friends had margaritas and they were ALL disgusting. We asked for new ones and she snapped at us even though SHE made the drinks wrong. Our food took FOREVER to get and she got our order wrong. Idk how they even make a profit with someone like that. Completely wasteful, rude, and unprofessional

Awful food & service !!. My family and I decided to eat at Sunny Jim's today . My husband and I decided to have the buffet. What a JOKE!!!!

First of all we had to find our waitress and ask her to find the cook to make us omelets. After waiting almost 10 min. He shows up. I asked for a ham & cheese omelet. He said he would bring it to our table. Well I get my omelet and it's nothing but a rubbery glob of cheese inside. He forgot the ham. So instead of having to wait for him again I just put the cold ham on top of the eggs. It was disgusting!! Most of the food on the buffet was dried out and hard. (waffles, french toast etc) and not much of it. The potatoes were empty so my husband asked our waitress if they were going to put more out she said she would check and that was the last we heard from her for awhile. It took 15 min. to get potatoes. When we complained about the lack of food on the buffet and horrible food all she could say was " sorry". No adjustment was made to our bill, no mgr. came to our table, nothing. Our waitress was very slow and not attentive at all . Business was slow so there was no excuse for the poor service. Maybe that's why there weren't many people eating there! Will never go back there!! By the way, the waitress was quick to come to our table when it was time to get her tip. So listen to the other bad reviews. This place is HORRIBLE!!!!! and mgmt. doesn't seem to care! By the way the 1 star for rating is only because I had to put something not because I wanted to.

SLOW & RUDE!!!!. This place is set up nice and is very presentable until you get down to business. The service is absolutely horrible! Everything takes forever, the waitress, the food, refills, requests, the bill….I mean EVERYTHING!!!! There was no excuse whatsoever for the experience I dealt with. On top of the ridiculously slow service, the waitress was downright rude. It was just one thing after another. All of the food that was ordered was not brought out to us, in which we paid for…the bills were messed up. I mean cmon….really? This place is bound to go under if this pathetic example of a wait staff keeps this up. Eat somewhere else if you’re hungry because at this rate, you’re going to be walking out of this place hungry and mad….real mad like Joe Jackson. No one even had the decency to apologize for this ruthless episode. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!!!!

Sunny Jim's -- a good place to eat. Reubens can't be beat! Great outdoor seating in the summer.. I have been going to Sunny Jims for quite some time now and always enjoy the atmosphere and friendliness of the wait staff. The prices are reasonable (moderately priced) and the food good. It has a hometown feel to it. Food always comes quickly and hot. I understand they are known for their fried chicken but sandwiches are my favorite. The BLT with cheese is out of this world and the Reuben fantastic. The sandwiches are big enough for two! If you are ordering a drink, bloody Mary's or a good cold draft are my choice During the last visit, the bartender mixed us up some gin daisy's. Although this wasn't a drink normally ordered, she used our recipe and made it to our specifications; including the fruit! Delicious.

During Steeler football games; the establishment offers a free half time buffet which has a nice selection of eats. Bucket of beer specials are also offered. If going for the game, arrive early for seating. Plenty of large scale tv's. Do not expect quiet. The atmosphere for the game is always charged up.

This is a great place to enjoy Home Town Sports and for weekend entertainment. Good draft beers on tap as well as specialty bottled beer. Menu--reasonably priced-nice selection. It would be a plus if Sunny's would post their entertainment on a web page so we could keep up with the bands, comedy etc. which they book. Thumbs up to you guys. Always a good time and good eats..

$6.00 for a Leinenkugel's? wtf?. I've been visiting Sunny Jims occassionally for the past 6 years & had always been satisfied. I went for a visit last week with a few friends and will not be returning any time in the near future. First, a Leinenkugels Sunset Wheat cost $6.00 per pint which is acceptable for New York City, Professional Sporting Events, and visits to your significant others' family, but Camp Horne Road? Gimme a break. The atmosphere & ambiance were okay, but nothing to write home about. The food was okay. I had wings & was also upset that I had to order all of my wings one flavour. Again, this would be acceptable if I was paying $1.25 for a draft, but $6.00? C'mon and make an exception. My buddy was also charged incorrectly & because of his destitution resulted in an overdraft fee from his bank. Needless to say, neither me nor my friends will be returning.

Worth a visit!. Fabulous comfort food at affordable prices. Home town atmosphere. The Hill behind the restaurant creates a shaded patio in the evening. Definitely worth the trip.
