Worst customer service EVER. I have lived in the Bellevue area for years and it is so sad to see such a great bakery go under like this. Ordering a cake is literally like pulling teeth. The counter workers are so rude, they act as though you are such an imposition. I recently attempted to order my grandfather a birthday cake and couldn't get mixed batter, couldn't get the picture I wanted on the cake, couldn't talk to the decorator about ideas, I guess I should've just let them do what they wanted because that's what I ended up with anyways. I called to increase my order and was told that I couldn't get the icing I had chosen either. But they never called to tell me this, I was informed when I had contacted them. So had I not called, I would've been stuck with a cake I didn't want. When I asked why I couldn't get the icing I had already ordered, the salesgirl said "because we don't do it". Ummmm, ok.... I cancelled my order and waws promptly hung up on. Over it, over their bakery and ignorant staff. Their cakes are good but not good enough to put up with their attitudes. So very disappointing. I have read so many reviews about Lincoln's poor customer service, you would think management would have made some changes, but I guess not. There are a lot of great bakeries in PIttsburgh, I would rather take my business somewhere it is appreciated.…
Wonderful Bakery.
I have lived in Pittsburgh area my whole life. I have tried many different bakeries but have never found one quite like Lincoln. Their cakes are the most delicious cakes I have ever had. Not only is
the taste just out of this world, the cakes are so beautifully decorated. I called to order a birthday cake for my daughter's 16th birthday, and it was to have a Scooby Doo theme on it. The decorator drew Scooby Doo on it. It was so amazing and my daughter couldnt stop talking about it, thats how much she liked it. Everyone at the party just raved about the taste and how it was decorated. Anytime I need a cake for a birthday, party or just to have a cake, I always go to Lincoln. You will not be disappointed with their cakes or any of their product.
I have read some of the other reviews of people and their experience with Lincoln and I do not agree with the ones who talk down on the customer service. Working with the public is a very hard thing to do. I know because I am a waitress. The "public" are the ones who are rude and think they are better then the ones who are waiting on them. I have been in Lincoln and have seen those girls get misstreated for no reason. So I can understand why sometimes they may not have a smile on their face. But as for me I have never had a problem with the customer service there. In fact I have never had a problem with anything there. So I highly recomend going to Lincoln Bakery. Like most people said, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!…
BEST BAKERY EVER!!!!. The Lincoln bakery is the best!! About customer service, the girls out front waiting on folks have always been very nice and helpful. The woman that takes the wedding cake orders is a little quiet and I admit we went and had an appointment and she wouldn't come out (said she was too busy) and luckily it all worked out fine for the wedding....but she can act however she wants because she has the BEST cake in the world with the world's best icing...so it's like put up with her and she wasn't rude in anyway or anything like that, and have the best cake or go somewhere else and get that "fake" cake/icing. I could live there....everything is so good! Go Lincoln, wish you were closer!…
Cupcakes. Their cupcakes are really dry, but other than that, their other items are good.
