I took my car here after it was rear ended, and they told me I would have it back in 3-4 days. After nearly a week of not hearing anything from them, I decided to call them only to find out that no work had been done on my car yet. I asked to pick up my car so I could take it elsewhere, but they had already destroyed my rear bumper so I was stuck leaving it with them. It took nearly 2 more weeks after this for me to get my car, and they didn't call me ONCE during the whole process. I had to call them to find out anything, and they made me feel as if I was being a nuisance when I called. When I finally did go to pick up my car, I found that they had not painted my bumper the color I'd requested, and I had to wait 3 more days for them to fix their paint job. It seems like the actual mechanics here do quality work (otherwise I would've given 1 star), but the people managing the front desk/customer service portion of the business have no idea what they are doing and don't know how to communicate with each other or their customers. Needless to say, I will never bring my car here again.
Excellent experience. I was surprised by the other review. I have needed City Collision three times in the last 10 years (sadly), and every time the work has been excellent, they have been kind and professional, and the time estimate has been accurate. I really have nothing but good things to say about them.
Scratched My Vehicle--Terrible Customer Service. My experience with City Collision was terrible. Their customer service was poor, and I was treated like a fool throughout the process of repairing a damaged rear quarter panel. The work took a week longer than I was promised, and when I picked up my vehicle there was a scratch in the paint in an area adjacent to the repaired panel that they refused to repair. They maintained that the scratch was not their responsibility without further comment. I hand wash my car regularly and am aware of the several dings from pebbles and such that exist on my car, so I can say without hesitation that I would have known if there were a one-inch long gouge in the car?s finish. Taking legal action won?t be worth the money or bother, but I do hope that I can save someone else from having a similar outcome with this duplicitous body shop.
