A bit out of the way, but not too far to taste.. The Scene There is little decoration, and the "open kitchen" concept has been in practice here for years. In fact, you pass the prep area on your way to the dining room. The chef is busily moving around, making the calzones the place is known for.
The Food There are two calzones of great merit: the spinach and the roasted red pepper. Each has the vegetables, and then you build on that with cheese, mushrooms, sausage, etc. Be sure to try the pastas (various sizes), as well as the manicotti and ravioli, all homemade.
If You Order One Thing Another dish of note is the eggplant Parmesan, served over bread like a hot sandwich.
