Tips for Day Chevrolet

Day Chevy is wonderful! They helped me in a sticky financial situation that was my own fault. Sales and finance did the right thing and very likely even lost money over me but still helped me out. They clearly have PEOPLE in mind and not money. God Bless the whole team at Day Chevy!

Run from this dealer!!!! Not at all trustworthy!!!!. Underhanded sales practices are the norm at Day. We were bold face lied too a total of 3 times. The 4th lie was about my first sales guy having to turn me over to another sales guy due to a sick daughter, no sic kid, fired because he let me leave without seeing his sales manager. I'm happy with the vehicle but their sales practices are poor at best. I asked and put in writing two easy questions about the vehicle I was to purchase. The salesman sat across the table from me and lied to both me and my wife! She told me not to go to Day but I didn't listen, she was right and hurt, she was lied too as well! We found out after taking delivery of the vehicle that the feature I questioned, and told was on the car, was not! After busting them in the lie they still will not admit or verify the feature. I found out later that the salesman knew the feature was not on my car but felt the need to not tell us. He even went as far as to point out the non existent feature on the car, which was a totally different feature. The entire time in dealing, he knew this and would not fess up. There's much more negatives to this story but I don't want to sound too bitter. I'm actually having a letter drafted to Daniel Akerson, CEO of GM, about this "documented" situation I had with Day Chevrolet. All I can say is, RUN!!!!!

PS, never a follow up call, I had to call them!!!!

Terrible after-buying, customer service.. My title was sent back numerous times for petty mistakes. I would call & get switched around to different ppl. None wanted to talk to me. One lady who handled the titles, would not even pick up her phone to talk to me. You would think after handing over a 39k check for a vehicle, that I could get some damn customer service. They just did not care.
