don't eat at Don Pablos in Monroeville...ever!. I took a family member for dinner on a special occasion. I called earlier to let them know I wanted to do something for this person to celebrate...I was told ok....after we ate we sat for 20 minutes trying to get the attention of the person and we were ignored and my family member got up and left because they never came to the table....last Mother's Day we came in and waited a half hour to sit, which is cool, but an hour and 15 minutes later we still hadn't got our food...other tables came in, ate and left and we still didn't have our food...the idiot here is me for going back to this restaurant where the people just don't care about anything but you leaving so that can get their tip and go home. Never again...never again and if you go you're as big an idiot as me !!!!
AWFUL. This was the absolute worst mexican food I have ever had. The portions were so small a mouse would still be hungry after dinner. The food was absolutely shitty, This place deserves no stars....
Great drinks for the cost. The tacos are the best i ever had. Great drinks for the cost. The tacos are the best i ever had.
We went to Don Pablos for a nice family dinner and had an aw. We went to Don Pablos for a nice family dinner and had an awesome time. The new features are a great value and the drinks are the best in the area.
Margaritas and affordable Mexican fare in a campy, family-friendly atmosphere..
In Short
Bright colors and big booths make this quick-service, sit-down Mexican restaurant a cheery choice for group outings. The traditional menu--including classic enchiladas, soft and crispy tacos, mesquite-grilled shrimp, sizzling fajita platters and made-from-scratch salsas--features lunch specials, create-your-own combinations and to-go options for more fast-paced patrons. Tequila makes its appearance in house margaritas and cocktails. Bringing the little ones? They're catered to with a kid-friendly, Tex-Mex menu.
Good food, better drinks!. Don Pablo's serves fairly typical mexican fare with few surprises. The luncheon plates are a great value with enough food for dinnertime meal. They have a wide selction of frozen margaritas, just like Chi-Chi's a mile down the road. All are excellent. Don Pablo's went for the ambiance of a techno-renovated warehouse, which isn't eye-catching but provides plenty of space and privacy between diners. They're extra hot salsa and homemade tortilla chips gratis are a winner.
