MMMMMM. Never in my life would I have imagined that I would love a restaurant because of a salad, but Olive Garden salads are just the most incredible works of mastery that I have ever indulged in before. It is just amazing and perfect, and the breadsticks are magnificient... oh there is other food too if you want it, but my vote is on the salad and the breadsticks! hehe
Olive Garden#1 in Pittsburgh...Laughable. I think it is an absolute disgrace that the Olive Garden has been rated the number one Italian restaurant in Pittsburgh. After seeing that I dismissed the entire list. Primadonna offers a superb dining experience and it is an insult to it's excellence to see it mentioned with the Olive Garden. The fact that PaPa J's in Carnegie isen't on this list is baffling. The atmosphere is wonderful, the service is top notch, and the food is some of the best in the city. I can't say enough good about Primadonna either. The service is fantastic and the food is unbelievable. To see the Olive Garden rated number one leads me to believe too many people are unaware of the dining experience offered at PaPa J's and Primadonna.
gimme a break. Gimme a break, sad to hear that around this city of ethnic restaurants and the like, you people think that the best Italian food is at A CHAIN!!!!!! Get out and get more adventerous!!! You will not believe what you are missing
OK. service was ok, food was good, it was loud clanking dishes, wait staff talking loud back and forth
Delicious Garden. The Olive Garden offers a casual as well as upscale dining experience. From the salads and breads to the main course, you won't be disappointed. They maintain courteous and friendly service in a clean comfortable atmosphere. The tastiest Italian food in town.
Good food and nice family style restaura. A nice place with a food selection that appeals to the whole family. And it has generous servings and a family atmosphere.
ugh!. How can anyone rate a nation-wide chain restaurant as Pittsburgh's greatest inovation in Italian food? People go here because it's popular, not because it's good. Wake up people and go try some REAL food, not this muck we pretend is authentic Italian food.
great italian food. This is a nice italian resturant if you are out on a date or out with the kids.
One of the Best!!. Where else can you get such great food and such a reasonable price. Even better, is that the portions are a very good size. You have to be careful though, because you can fill up on just the salad and the breadsticks before your meal arrives.
What is wrong with people?!?!. This is bland, mass produced italian food. It's a big chain, with below-average service and the food tastes barely a step above frozen. Pittsburgh has tons of great Italian restaurants (Zarra's and Alexander's to name just two). Do yourself a favor -- Break out of the herd mentality and go someplace other than the Olive Garden.
