Fridays in Monroeville is not worth the bother. TGI Fridays pride themselves on being a loud restaurant. They never let you down, as this is the one thing that they are always consistent with. If you intend on having a conversation, forget it.

I've eaten at this location more than once, and never been satisfied. At the insistence of a friend, I returned only to be more disappointed than before. After being seated by the hostess, we waited over 20 minutes for a waitress. Not 20 minutes until she came, as when she was pointed out, I realized she walked past several times without stopping for a drink order or to let us know we were at one of her tables.

After asking to see the manager, we were offered a free meal. I insisted on sitting in another area, with a different waitress. After being assured that the waitress for our new table was the best, she quickly arrived and took a drink order. The "best" waitress only took a bit over 15 minutes to go to the bar and bring us bottled beer.

The meals we finally received were both over-cooked and room temperature. Not being in a mood to complain as my dinner was already quite late, we ate what we could and left. I shook the dirt from my shoes and haven't set foot inside the place again, and strongly recommend you do the same.

Every night is the weekend at this bistro, where families enjoy American kitsch and cuisine alongside partying singles.. In Short
The much-copied look of hardwood floors, decorative stained glass, checked tablecloths, brass rails and walls filled with knickknacks has been a staple at this restaurant franchise. Originally a hit for its frisky bar scene, Friday's is now known just as much for its kid-friendly entrees. The menu alternates between typical American fare (salads, potato skins, Angus burgers and grilled chicken) and modestly international cuisine like fajitas, wraps and pot stickers.

take it or leave it. fridays is known for its drinks, but i would reccomend sticking to only beer or wine if you are sitting at a table.... drinks are always weak in the restaurant... food is good but nothing is made fresh... service is ok... restrooms always reek of cigarette smoke
