Wonderful menu - great food!. Every time I go to Chelsea's I am determined to try something new on the menu. Sometimes I succeed, but my favorite is the Chicken Chelsea, with a delicious light and creamy sauce, topped with fresh, fresh crabmeat and shrimp. The Tuna Nicoise salad is the best I have had anywhere. Again, fresh! Also wonderful are the Chicken and Spinach Cannelloni,the Crab Cakes, the Veal Boursin...have loved everything I have tried so far. The early bird dinner menu with entrees under $10 allows you to afford an extra glass of wine.

I was inspired to write this review in reponse to the "yuk yuk" comment. Can't figure that one out for the life of me!

Great Food Mostly Great Service. After reading the other review of this fantastic place i do have a few words to say. This establishment is one of my favorite places in town. After going there at least once a week for the last two years i do have to agree that it can get quite busy on a saturday afternoon. This is because only one half of the restaurant (the bar side) is open for service. Sometimes if the that side fills up quickly the hostess will seat people in the main dining room. I would assume this is what happened to the book club post. For the best service I would recommend going weekdays for lunch, or evenings. Sometimes it will take a while for your food to arrive, but trust me it is almost always worth the wait, and if it isn't don't be afraid to send it back. In my experiance the servers and kitchen staff will be happy to fix it for you!

Great food--Terrible Service. My bookclub met here on a Saturday afternoon around 12:30. Very few other people in the restaurant. We ordered appetizers and entrees and then waited and waited and waited some more. The appetizers (fried zucchini, stuffed mushrooms and roasted garlic) were fantastic, despite the wait. The roasted garlic was so smooth and creamy. However, after wating 30 minutes for our salads after the appetizers, the hostess informed us that the other room was full and there were only two servers. No apology. We waited for a total of two hours and no entrees arrived. We decided to cancel our entrees and when we asked for the manager, he told us that it was taking longer because we had ordered appetizers! Again no apology, except when the manager said, "I'm sorry the service wasn't fast enough for you."

This was not the first time any of us had eaten at Chelsea Grille. In fact, my husband and I had our rehearsal dinner there several years earlier!

I wish we could have gotten to the main course but the service was so slow and rude. I doubt I will return.
