Shut them Down Please

The mailman left my gate open on Friday afternoon. When I got home I let my 2 dogs out. They ran off through the open gate. I found 1 of the dogs that night. The other dog went missing. I called Triangle Pet 3 times during the weekend, left a message on Saturday and Sunday. I finally talked to someone the third time I called on Monday afternoon about 12:30. They told me my dog wasn't there. I went to the Humane Society to check for him there. He wasn't there either, but they told me to go to Triangle Pet and physically check for my dog. I got to Triangle Pet at about 2:00. I walked in, they let me look around. My dog was in the very first cage closest to the entrance. My dog is microchipped. I asked them when he got there and did they check for the chip. They didn't have any information for me at all. The guy told me that all he knows is thaat the dog was there now and they check every dog for a chip. He said that the chip must be bad or else they would've called me. I called his bluff. I asked him to scan my dog in front of me. He did. What do you know, his chip number came right up. Then they told me, they had the chip number already but the place they had to call to get my info was closed on the weekend so they had to wait til Monday. It's already 2:00 in the afternoon by now. Be serious you lazy jerks. You were just too lazy to scan the dog. Now, the fees for they're service are $80 initally for any dog they pick up, then $15 a day for storage. Lol. They tried charging me $125. I asked them how they arrived at that number. They told me it was the inital fee plus 3 day storage. I asked them how they can charge me for 3 days storage when they have no idea when the dog got there. After that, we settled on the inital fee of $80. I can't believe these people get paid for the horrible job they do. On top of all this my dog smells like he was playing in a pile of dog crap all weekend. And as soon as I got him home. He tore a hole in the side of the dog food bag to eat. He was starving. I've never seen him do that before so I'm speculating that they didnt feed him for how ever long he was down there. This place sucks. I hope you never lose a pet, but if you do, I really hope it doesn't end up here.

HORRIBLE

I am from gibsonia pa, my dog was brought down there on saturday. I called down there to see if my dog was there on monday and the man i spoke to said no!! After speaking to this wonderful lady in my township at the police department in gibsonia she told me not to say that i am from gibsonia because they are not allowed in gibsonia because of all of the uthinizing they do. I called back today and said i was from hampton described my dog he said he would look and call me back. He called back about 10 minutes later and said yes my dog was there!! Ha go figure!! So if you are from gibsonia they so no because they are allowed there and dont care if the dog is from there. The only reason my dog was not uthinized is because the are so back logged with uthinizing.. I got so much info on them today its disgusting. And the place is so gross..

triangle should be shut down not just for bad treatment but bad employ treatment and scam dont pay cash people they pocket it. get reciepts from the company not the driver.

TRIANGLE PET NEEDS SHUT DOWN

All this place cares about is euthenizing animals whether they have a collar on or not!!! they capture cats and euthenize them without even giving thhem to the Animal rescue league to be put up for adoption. They are KILL HAPPY. My friends dog that ran away got caught by them and when she went there to get her dog they already put him down when she told them on the phone she'll be right there to pick him up! The dog had a collar on and they didnt care, they didnt even call her she called them to check if he was there. THIS PLACE IS SICK!!!!!! PLEASE SHUT THEM DOWN!!!!

Triangle Pet is the Best Animal Control In allehgeny County

They are the best animal control that you can get in all of Allegheny County. If people would CHIP and make sure their animals have the proper identification they would not have to blame the officers for their neglect. If people would be responsible and not break the laws then you would have an easier time to get your animal back. People only make them out to be bad, but you know there response time is OUTSTANDING and VERY prompt. Because they are animal control officers they have to be harsh sometimes to get their POINT ACROSS to make sure that you are taking control and also being RESPONSBILE with your animal.
