The Skinny
A small herd of North American bison, affectionately known to locals as the "South Park buffalo," have been an integral part of the nature center since arriving in the 1930s,
offering visitors an opportunity to view a living piece of American history. Another of the park's main attractions is the BMX course. It's a hot gathering spot for families and individuals who walk, bike, jog and skate alongside the generous shoulders of the park's main route, Corrigan Drive, where motorists courteously maintain the 25mph speed limit.
