Idiot delivery driver
by rwdean916 at Citysearch
The delivery driver mistakenly rang my doorbell, having confused 133 and 113.
Rather than taking a step back and analyzing the situation, he begins to accuse my wife and I of ordering and refusing to pay for this pizza.
The driver then gets on his cell phone and rather than calling the number than was given when the order was placed, begins to call his bosses and starts threatening me with felony charges.
So I take the initiative and ask the fine upstanding gentleman what the phone number of the order-er was, phone my neighbor and discover the mistake. Rather than a thank you or a sorry, he just speeds off (breaking the speed limit on our block) to reach his destination 50 feet away.
I would call to complain, but based on the other reviews, its clear the owners do not care about Carnegie or it's residents, and its pretty well known around town just how awful their food is, so it would be pointless to boycott a place I'd never order from again anyway.
Do yourself a favor and order from ANY other establishment in town.

The pizza tastes great old family style purchased by middle eastern smucks. NO service, if they don't understand you and it is wrong, don't bother to call back they cannot help you...cancel your CC at the bank. Delivery guys, """"A!"""" owners can go to you know where where there aren't any virgins!!! Portofino's family if you are listneing, what a mistate against your name. They are theives and c rooks. NEVER again NEVER will I order nor anyone i know. Let them go where ever the sun doesn't shine!!! Owners bad for business and bad for Pittsburgh!! I guess I'll get bombed after this...look at the owners guys!

Read other reviews...maybe hoagies or something else on menu is what keeps ya'll coming back...but the pizza? No, I don't think so.
Walk in order. Waited for the pie. Staff was friendly. Pizza tasted like Campbell's tomato soup with mozzerella sprinkled over it. Crust was good. Pepperoni was spicy. But the sauce makes or breaks the pie in my mind...
New to area. Trying out pizza joints. We won't be back here. Pizza was terrible.
- Pros: Quick, no-frills service + Good crust
- Cons: Sauce tasted like tomato soup, skimpy on cheese
