Good pizza - Bad seafood

Our order: fried zucchini app, wedding soup, mussels marinara, lg pepperoni pizza

Pizza was very good. Crust light an airy, fresh. Sauce had the traditional italian kick that only fresh sauce can, ample cheese and toppings. Yum!

Mussels were bad. Smelled and tasted sour. Mgr replaced with shrimp salad that was ok but nothing to write home about.

Stick to the pizza, Papa J's. We'll be back! But I doubt we'll order seafood again...lol

Excellent Food

The cooking style was very Southern Italy. The pasta, sausage, and sauce was excellent and tasted homemade. I would definately take my customers to the restaurant.

I have had nothing but great experiences at PaPa J's. This is by far my favorite place to take family, friends and co-workers. I love the white pizza, spinach and feta pasta, veal meatballs...I could go on and on.. They do make their bread fresh everyday. I see the baker there at 6:30 on my way to work. The staff is always friendly and considerate, my food is always hot and delicious and I am always happy, as well as my guests. They have now added outdoor seating which makes for a romantic summer night date with my husband. Go to PaPa J's, you'll be glad you did.
