The Scene – Since 1939, Talotta's has stood on West Main Street in Carnegie and the family-run business is now in its third generation. There have been a couple of additions to the building, but the simple, homey atmosphere has maintained over the years. The dining rooms are spotless, service is very friendly and everyone is treated like a regular customer. – – The Food – Food runs toward traditional American, and is consistently good. I Love this Place
by steelersfan10 at Citysearch
I have been to Talotta's Restaurant many many times, and I absolutely die for the wedding soup. The fish sandwiches is a perfect treat for your Friday night during lent. I think they have a lot of great food for reasonable prices. Its not like the portions are small either. I personally love the staff, including the owners who I know very well. But there staff makes you want to come back more and more because of their generosity and the care they put towards the customers. The cooks come out and interact with the customers. The bartenders are always playing great music. The hosts/hostess' they have treat you with all the respect in the world. Its just the place to be on any giving night.
- Pros: fish sandwiches and the staff
- Cons: there are none.
Service is a Pass
by FoodEater4u at Citysearch
The service is really slow. Waitress and Bartenders will stand around talking, while customers are their waiting. I've waited at least 3x that I have been in there. While servers are up at the bar talking and laughing.. Ignoring the customers standing right there. And they seem to be more interested in the Poker machines, than their customers.
Food is fine.
- Pros: Turkey Clubs
- Cons: The staff
Tiny portion

Ten bucks for a mediocre salad, one tiny boneless chicken breast and a small portion of pasta out of line. Worth $6 at most.
- Pros: Parking
- Cons: small portions
Best restaurant in town

This restaurant has almost anything you are hungry for. The service is very personal and it is a great family business. Their homemade soups and dinners are to die forand so are their desserts. They also have take out service that you can call ahead for. Their pizzas are excellent and are only $6 for a cheese pizza. This place has delicious food for unbeatable prices so go eat there today. It's conveniently located across the street from the new bureau building. Bon appetite! :)
- Pros: inexpensive, delicious food, clean
- Cons: no delivery
