Great shot n'wash bar with good food, nice waitresses and Wooden Indian

I bring my out of town relatives to Alexion's to show them a nice neighborhood shot n a wash bar. Great sandwiches and nicely remodeled with old style tile ceiling and wood work. Wooded Indian stands guard for Michael Keaton who is rumored to show up here on the Wednesday b4 Thanksgiving. Located up the street from the world renowned Bishop Canevin High School

A great "neighborhood" bar

The menu is limited to basically sandwiches. These are always fresh and piled high with meats. (See the poem at the end of the bar.) The bread is fresh and cut thick. A regular order of fries is more than enough for one. Pickles come with every platter, an Alexion's tradition. There is a nightly draft special with different brands. TV's are easily seen from the bar. Wednesday has great a kielbassa special. This place does a great lunch business also. This is a local establishment but a great find for the traveler.
