The Pool and Spa Place is horrible. As a customer spending their hard earned money on goods and services you want:

1.) Strong customer service

2.) Expert technical knowledge

3.) Fair prices

4.) Issues resolved in a timely manner

5.) Strong business ethics

The Pool and Spa Place offers NONE of these.

Their customer service is the worst. They have the mindset that they are doing you a favor by servicing you, when you are paying them for their business. They do not have strong knowledge of Pools and Spas; in fact, from my experience, when they come out for services, they look up everything on an iphone and give you wishy-washy answers and unclear explanations. They do not have fair prices and are known to overcharge their customers. They have gimmicks where they make up false things and recommend them to you. Picture the worst rip-off car mechanic you’ve ever dealt with. Times that by 10. That is the Pool and Spa Place. In addition, they could not resolve my issue after many months, and as a result, they still demanded payment and I ended up having to pay someone else to fix it! I found out that The Pool and Spa Place intentionally installed a piece of crap part that wasn’t even compatible with my unit and was valued less at what I paid them for, then they tried to cover it up which caused them to screw up my electrical connections in the process. They have no sense of business ethics. I would not trust them with doing any sort of work ever again on my property. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Not Nice. I had a very unpleasant experience today at the Pool & Spa Place. I went there because of the connivence of the location, but left because the woman was SO rude! My husband and I went into the store to spend money (need a lot of stuff) on a pool we had just purchased (we purchased the pool via the internet). We told her we needed sand and chemicals and started asking her questions about what other products we would need and how to use them, that's when it got ugly. She was upset we purchased the pool via the internet, and said "we came in asking her questions being CUTE" when we didn't ,even buy to pool from her. What she didn't think about is we were there to buy products for my new pool which I will have for many years, and she was so rude and ignorant for reprimanding me for purchasing somewhere else that she lost me as a repeat customer for pool products. I would suggest going to Alpine right down the road, I did, they knew I didn't buy the pool from them, yet they were VERY helpful. I will give Alpine my repeat business, not the Pool and Spa Place. The sales women said, "the internet is ruining her business". It's not the internet, it's her poor customer service.
