Customer Service Nightmare.
The customer service was horrible. It took 3 months and 2-3 phone calls per week for them to finally fix the issues that were on my deck (most phone calls were not returned)...and then I received attitude for asking for these issues to be fixed (if they would have been done right in the first place, they would not have had to have fixed them). These were obvious issues as well: nail holes not filled with cortex caps, a gate missing from the top of my deck that was part of the contract, railings that didn't align correctly, siding that was not put back on my house after they removed it to install the deck etc...).
I would not hire them again for even the smallest of tasks.
Poor with the details and very poor customer service. It took 2-3 months for the issues with my deck to be fixed and they were fixed poorly and received a lot of attitude from the foreman when he finally did show up to fix the issues. His exact quote was "I don't have time to fix all of this. I have to get the hell out of here". I still have issues and am working with another deck company to resolve them as I do not trust Affordable Decks and Additions (ex: one of the rail posts sways back and forth a good 2 inches). Note - I'm paying this other company to fix the issues rather than deal with Affordable Decks and Additions and have them fix their poor workmanship for free.
I would not hire them again for any job.
