If you want to be treated like family this is the place.. I have brought my dog Spot here for many years. On one occasion my dog was not well but I had no choice but to board him since I had to go on a business trip. The employees there were great keeping in eye on him frequently making sure his condition didn't worsen. One evening I was worried sick about him while I was away. I called and left a message and an hour later I got a call back AFTER business hours and they gave me a health report on Spot. I will not look anywhere else to board my dog because here you are treated like family. Here you can expect the most personal service. Good people and great family keep up the good work.

Hands down the best kennel experience!. This is hands down the best kennel experience I had. Our dog is cautious around other people so it was always difficult to find a perfect kennel for him. The staff new just what to do and made my dog feel at home. From that moment on I recommend this kennel to everyone I know. They treated him like their own pet. When I returned from vacation our Max was happy and well taken care of. Could not ask for a better experience!

BEST CARE FOR YOUR DOGS!!!!. We have NEVER, EVER met people who love and care for our dog as much as we do until we started taking our dog to Rustic Ridge Kennels. ALL the employees there are VERY, VERY caring and loving. The kennel is very clean and affordable. However, this does not mean that you only get what you pay for. At Rustic Ridge Kennels your dog gets treated better than the more expensive kennels. We LOVE this kennel and HIGHLY recommend it.

Best Kennel. this is the best kennel I've been too. The owner loves your animals like they are her own. The kennel is always clean and my pet has always had great care there. All the staff is friendly and very helpful whatever you need they will help you with. I always take my dog here for great care.

#1 PET FACILITY IN THE AREA. BEST PET KENNEL IN THE AREA. BEST PRICES AND NO HIDDEN FEES.MOST PLACES NICKEL AND DIME YOU FOR STUFF THEY DON'T EVEN DO.BEAUTIFUL GROUNDS AND ALMOST FEELS LIKE GOING TO CAMP OUR 3 DOGS. RUSTIC RIDGE MAKES CUSTOMERS AND THEIR PETS FIRST.IVE BEEN TO K9 KINGDOM AND OTHER PLACES AND THEY HAVE TOO MANY EMPLOYEES DOING NOTHING.IVE BEEN GOING HERE SINCE 1988 AND ONLY HAD GREAT EXPERIENCES. FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED FOR OVER FIFTY YEARS THEY REALLY ARE PET CARE ORIENTED. I WOULDN'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE..

Do Not Board Here!!!!. I was a big fan of Rustic Ridge in the past, they were a great low cost no frills kennel in the woods with lots of shade for my dogs. The owner was always there when we picked up and dropped off in the years 2005-2008. My dogs were always cared for and came home happy and healthy.

This year - 2010 - we had a TERRIBLE experience. The owner was no where to be found only young kids. My dog came home infested with DEER TICKS. I was in shock that this occured, because we treat her monthly with Frontline Plus as suggested by our vet. We treated her prior to taking her to Rustic Ridge. My dog had at least 35 ticks active on her body when we brought her home and she was chewing at her self so much she chewed the pads of her paws bloody because the ticks were infested in her feet. There were ticks in her eyes and ears - all over her. My dog is a completley INDOOR animal (she is only let out to use the bathroom and brought in) we bathe her routinley. I was appaled at the condition she came home in. The kennel claims they had no idea. I took the dog to the vets where they confirmed the DEER TICKS and gave us 3 weeks of medications for multiple diseases that she could have including life threating LYME Disease. The dog also spent a second day at the vets getting a harsh mitoban dip. I will have to take her back for blood test in a month.

The kennel claims they spray for ticks, they clean and powder the runs, but please note that the DEER TICKS are very tiny and can easily go un discovered. The Kennel is in a very wooded area with Deer/ wildlife and they can get into the runs and on your pet easily. I did use every precaution and my dog is VERY sick and we are out $500.00 so far and many tears. The kennel offered nothing in return!!! We paid the full bill. We pray she gets well, and LYME is not found in her or any of us. BEWARE of where you Kennel your dog.

Nice, friendly, but no frills.. I have used Rustic Ridge 4 times in the last year. The staff is friendly and I truly believe they take good care of my two dogs. This is a no frills kennel. No fancy play date or plush doggie beds, but clean and comfortable. However, my concern is the feeding. I pack my dogs food in individual bags and I pack just enough for their stay. I always count the bags about 5-6 to check myself. But, every time I pick up my dogs, there are extra bags of food. When I mention this to the staff, they say I must have over packed. I know I didn't over pack.

beautiful grounds and a true pet loving facility. I had tried a few other kennels in the area and this by far is the best.beautiful wooded landscape,great prices and easy to access.I tried misty pines and they are morons.My pet needs a shot a day and they have no problem giving it at rustic ridge.I like the outdoor play areas and the knowledgeable staff.i like how it is a family run business and they get to know you and your pets on a personal level.thanks rustic ridge i will be returning and will make sure to reccomend you.

Very Good Kennel!. I have used Rustic Ridge Kennels for 2 dogs for 6 years and I have only good things to say about them. They have gone above and beyond in caring for my two dogs. As my dogs progressed in age and illness they gave medications and care diligently, hand feeding one of my dogs who wouldn't eat. They could not be more loving and caring. They have also stayed a few minutes late several times for me to pick up or leave off my dogs. My dogs always enjoy staying at Rustic Ridge.

Rustic Ridge is a great kennel!. We are booking our dog's fourth stay since we moved to PA a year ago. He is a pure bread and intact male German Shepherd and he comes home happy and well tended. The location is very convenient to our home. We are happy with Rustic Ridge and will continue to take our dog there.
