These WERE best Hot Dogs in the World. I grew up with these dogs and they were just so good. Until about 5 years. Now the sauce has been watered down and no longer has the same richness that it once did. My friends agree. We go sometimes but not the for the dogs that made the place famous but for the occasional fish sandwich or the very nice Wedding Soup.

Can't find food like this anywhere. This is the greatest place to eat in my home-town. Every one of my relatives that has moved out of state, eats here when they come to visit. My Uncle comes up here every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The day after both holidays you can find him eating at one of the Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe's. If they were open on those holidays you would find him there. They have something for everyone. If you don't like hot dogs try a cheeseburger with chili, or one of the salads!

Hot Dog Heaven. A must visit if you are in the Pittsburgh area. My family is from the area, though it is a MUST visit when we return. The absolute BEST hotdogs! Recommended: Chili Dog w/ Cheese & Onions. In my younger days I would eat 5-7 of these. French Fries w/ chili & cheese are also excellent.
