More affordable than you think...

The Angel is considered to be the only fine dining in this little town, and there are certainly some fantastic high end menu items. What alot of people don't realize, though, is that their specials menu features a nice selection of smaller plates that are downright reasonable in price. Also, if you've eaten at a chain recently you'll be pleasantly surprised by how well the drinks are priced. Treat yourself.

• Pros: Great food, service, menu
• Cons: Closed Sundays and Mondays

Turn up the heat!

Dear Alex,

I am a long time avid customer of yours and enjoy eating in your restaurant with friends. However - on two occasions the week of 3/17 - lunch with a friend on 3/18 and dinner with friends on 3/19, I and my friends found your restaurant's temperature to be entirely too cold. On both occasions we all had to keep our jackets on during our meals. As we entered your restaurant for dinner I mentioned to the waitress, Bonnie, that the restaurant was cold and could the heat be turned up. Your food and service are outstanding but you will lose dedicated customers as well as new customers if you do not turn up the heat! Folks who enjoy fine dining like to enjoy it comfortably. :)

Great place to eat

I HAD MY WEDDING AT THE WOODEN ANGEL . The food is wonderful and the surrondings are eligant and romantic .The wine cellar room is a perfect place for a wedding. I would recommend this place for a wedding or a nice night out.
