Caution: Never recommend/ Disappointed. We booked a family party at Mansion on Fifth Ave in July (2011). It is a beautiful place for any special event. However, the fell short of even standard service with extremely high fees/taxes/and "add-ons" to everything possible. They are disorganized and certainly not professional--added $2000 on to our bill (denied at first, then told "mistake").

The air conditioner did not cool rooms; only the owner knew how to work music system and she left after 15 minutes. The drinks had little alcohol. No one/Manager directed party event. I had to repeatedly ask to clean dishes of tables and wipe off. They seem very new at this and do not deliver exceptional service for extremely high costs($$$$)

Common Plea caters their parties and they book numerous parties at the same time, which means "hit or miss" regarding your party's food standards....ours was poor.

Be diligent regarding your bill and get a contract checklist that they will deliver on everything they say they can do.....or guaranteed disappointment with their service.
