Tips for Rent-A-Center

Horrible.... I rented a Playstation 3 from this location last week. When I took the Playstation 3 home, I discovered an uploaded album on the Playstation 3. Upon listening, I found not only filthy-mouthed rap songs, but a racist 'white power' song that used racial terms so freely that it would make your head spin.

That's not all, not only did they not have the common decency to erase the uploaded album, there were also not one but two separate accounts that were logged in, complete with messages both sent and received. The worst part? The ethernet port was broken, so I couldn't even go online, which was the entire reason for the rental.

I spoke with them on the phone, they said they would call back shortly with a resolution. They didn't, of course, so I called back the next day. They said to bring it in, that's it. I brought it in, and they didn't even offer a refund until I asked when the clerk started to walk away. My refund? Only for the initial days left on the rental.

$15 wasted on a broken, racism-filled machine. BEWARE.
