Horrible experience! Went to get a
crown and left feeling like my mouth was wrestled to the ground - He would not listen to me that the crown was too high and now I am in agonizing pain. Have to return, but dreading it.
Also bedside manner was rough and he was harsh with his staff. I saw a piece of equipment drop on the floor and just get picked up and used again on my mouth and there were other questionably unhygenic practices going on... Definitely looking for another dentist.
They are too busy and rushed there to give quality, detailed and gentle care.
ten years. I have never had a problem at this office. I have been going to Dr. Parker for more than ten years. I have had good luck with the fillings and onlays he has done. He also found a tumor in my jaw with a routine x-ray and arranged care for me for something that could have been life threatening had I not known about it. He takes care of my three children, and they like going to the dentist.
Excellent Dr. Bruce Parker and Staff. I am thrilled with my new smile! From the initial call to Dr. Parker's office to walking out of the office with my gorgeous new super smile, I could not have been happier or have been treated any better. Dr. Parker is warm, personable, and puts you at ease with his gentle witty banter. I have been to many dentists and Dr. Parker is the very best. He features the very latest advances and products in the dental field, is so knowledgeable when it comes to preventice practices, and his wonderful staff is gracious and professional. The Doctor works seamlessly, efficiently, and always pleasantly with his Team - and my entire experience through three appointments was superb! Dr. Parker has given me back my beautiful smile. Smiling now is a joy and my confidence and sense of well being have been restored. I highly recommend Dr. Bruce Parker!
Not trustworthy.
I'd like to second what others have said. My girlfriend just switched from Dr. Parker, and after a hassle getting her records and X-rays, 1) his staff gave her the wrong x-rays, requiring her to have new x-rays taken at the new place; 2) it turned out there were no cavities at all.
I used to be a patient of Dr. Parker's, and while I found him personally pleasant enough, I was always put off by the constant pushing of teeth-whitening services. There are signs up all over the place, hygienists asked me if I ever considered having my teeth whitened, and along with the toothbrush and floss he gave out there'd always be a brochure for teeth-whitening services. It always seemed like a warning sign, and the more negative experiences I hear about, the clearer it becomes that it was.
So disappointed.... He has absolutely no bedside manner, does not adequately answer your questions, and is terrible with children!
Great Practice. I have used Dr. Parker and his staff for several years. I have had zero issues while being there. I had 2 crowns done and only had them redone after I had whitening.
Highly Recommend Dr. Bruce Parker. I have been going to Dr. Parker for years and I have been very impressed with his service. His staff is very friendly and I am always very satisfied with the work her does. Makes going to the dentist a breeze!! On top of all this, the wait time is very minimal and I am always out of there in a reasonable amount of time!
Dr. Bruce Parker. Dr. Parker has gone above and beyond what would normally be expected from a dentist. He has been persistent and innovative in his approach to my dental needs. I am very happy with the results I have obtained from his care.
DO NOT USE BRUCE PARKER.
Dr. Parker and his office. . . where to begin. Over the 1.5 years I used this dentist, I have accumulated a long list of negative reasons why no one should utilize his "services".
#1) Be prepared to sit in the waiting room for a MINIMUM of 30 minutes after you arrive, regardless of when your appointment was scheduled.
#2) If you are unlucky enough to have a tooth pulled by Parker himself, I feel your pain. The man took forever and couldn't get the tooth out. It broke, and my jaw hurt for months. I have had 6 teeth pulled in my life. I have never felt so much pain, and had to go through such a long process. On top of it all, while he was doing the procedure, and CLEARLY having trouble, he was having a conversation w/ one of his staff in the hallway and telling jokes the whole time!!!!!
#3) He wants your money and will create conditions that you don't really have in order to get it. Periodontal disease? Small gaps between your teeth and gums. Apparently he tells a lot of his patients they have this. I mean, how would they know if it's a lie. They put their trust into the doctor. Of course, when you ask if your insurance will cover this, they look it up and confidently say "YES". Then the bill comes and you find out, it's not. TOO LATE. You have to pay $300.
#4) In 2009, I used MetLife as my insurance provider. In 2010, I was forced to change to CIGNA due to my employer changing plans. I notified Parker's office of this and they said "OK". I continued going there, and guess what? Parker's office is not in CIGNA's network. Almost everything I had done was either not covered, or only at 50%. I didnt find out til the bills came! They did not have the decency to tell me this when I notified them of my insurance carrier change.
#5) Expect a busy signal when you call in to the office.
#6) Need a receipt to send in to your insurance provider or medical card? No, they don't have receipts for services. Just a printout of your billing account with abbreviations of services rendered. Microsoft Word?
Great dentist. Have been seeing dr.parker my whole life and he has been great! Have had fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns with no issue. Definitely recommend
