I've been at PKA Karate for quite some time now mostly as a private student, visited a good handful of local studios looking for basic self defense and fitness at my age. My schedule is very tight I quickly liked the relaxed and tailored attitude and atmosphere at this school. My goals have changed and I found kempo to be fun as well as effective. Can't say more about this place, the people and families. All the teachers I have met so far are more than willing to help and very able. Wish I had more time to devote to training. I do wish their location was bigger. They are growing out of the place. The price is right too. NO LONG term programs or contracts!

Glad to have found the Pittsburgh location of PKA Karate. These guys are not a fight-club for kids. They do not teach pound and bully-building tactics. We are very frugal and diligent in our research. Also no long term contracts when kids get in and out of things fast today. The atmosphere is very friendly and family run.
