Tips for Wai Wai Chinese Cuisine

First Try - No Wai.
It was okay... Here's what I ordered.
Corn and Chicken Soup - Basically Egg Drop Soup with some corn and 10-15 very small pieces of shredded chicken. A few chicken pieces were so small that I thought that it was a piece of corn before the flavor came through. It was nice and HOT - so + there. And that was after a 20 minute drive home. So kudos on temperature.
Shimp Egg Roll - Eh, they were ok. Not too greasy but not super flavorful. Just so-so.
Wai Special - Phoenix: Tangy Shrimp and General Tso's combo with white rice. The shrimp was not good in my opinion. It stank up my house like yucky lake Michigan fish. It tasted bad. I ate three bites and stopped there. Turning to the General Tso's - it was a little greasy and not crispy or crunchy at all. No kick to something advertised as "spicy". Bleh. I don't think I'll even eat the left overs tonight. Made me feel gross the rest of the night.
I will try again but DEFINITELY a completely different dish. Maybe chicken cashew or Chicken with broccoli.
No shrimp. I'm thinking maybe the combo special was a bad choice because they are served in the same dish and if I didn't like the shrimp maybe that flavored the General Tso's. So, it's for that reason and my usual love of Chinese food that I'll give it another try. Plus I'm moving into the area soon so I need to find a good Chinese place.
