Can't believe this place is still business. I filed a complaint with the BBB because this place charged my card twice when I went there a few years ago - the food was horrible, service sucked and I never got refund for the second time they charged my card EVEN THOUGH I WENT BACK IN AND WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD BE ON MY CARD IN 3 DAYS - I see they're up to their old tricks, by reading the other reviews. These managers are criminals - DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE

Siesta Time. My friends and I love Mexican food and decided to try this place on a whim. When we were seated it took our server almost 10 minutes to even recognize we were there. The person was rude especially when asked about an item on the menu. We ordered beverages and our meals and waited again for the beverages for at least 10 minutes and the server brought out two beverages that were wrong. We again waited for what seemed like an eternity for our meals and again one order was wrong. The server could not care less about us. Looking for good Mexican food...don't come here!

Horrible customer service, lackluster food. There aren't many restaurant choices on the North Shore for lunch hour, so when Calico Jack's opened the whole firm was talking. It's been hard to find any Mexican food and most of us love Mexican food. A group of us went there shortly after it opened. We chalked up the slow customer service and mistakes in ordering food items to the fact that staff were all new.

One year later, on two occasions, we tried to eat at Calico Jack's. Although on both occasions we were disgusted by the lackluster customer service, one stood out from the other. It was a nice summer day and my friend and I wanted to order the food for take-out, then eat out near the river. We called and ordered the food ahead. When we got there, the only staff person in sight was the bartender, and she wanted nothing to do with us. No customers were in there eating lunch. A hostess reluctantly came out after about 5 minutes and found out what we were there for. Another ten minutes went by without any word on where our food was. Finally, someone pointed to a plastic bag that was sitting on the end of the bar. Mind, we had been there for 15 minutes now and it had been sitting there the whole time. None of the staff knew or cared where our food was, or that it was getting cold sitting on the bar. And believe me, it was cold. But wait, it gets better. They also charged my bank card twice for my lunch.

I have never had a good experience in this restaurant, either with the food or the service. Please choose another place to eat.
