massage envy--always shortchanged. Have been there a half dozen times using three different therapists. In EVERY case, the advertised hour massage is actually 40-45 minutes. They walk you in the room an waste time asking useless questions. They left the room and didn't return for another 8-10 minutes while I'm laying on the table. Looked at clock in each case and they always start 10-13 minutes after the start of the hour. Then they end the massage 5-7 minutes before the end of the hour. That's BS!! Don't advertise an hour massage when its really 40-45 minutes, or else reduce the lost time to a max of five minutes at the beginning and end.

I do not recommend!!!. Yes, I am a real person, not employed by Massage Envy. I am not one of those fortunate ones who enjoyed a quality massage.

The atmosphere is decent. The introductory rat of 39$ got me in the door. I was greeted kindly and then filled paperwork and waited for my massage for just a short 10 mins.

The front desk man reminded me about tipping BEFORE my massage, even though there are gratuity envelopes every 6 inches WITH recommended amounts to be tipped pre -written on the outside. His verbal reminder disappointed me. I would have tipped more if he wouldn't have said it. AND if I get a good massage I have no problem leaving 20$ tip because I APPRECIATE a good massage!! ...which is hard to find. Which leads me to the next reason why I am giving them 1 lonely star rating and telling you to spend your hard earned money elsewhere... My massage therapist was friendly enough. But the massage was worst of my life. Her hands were on her lotion bottle more than on me. She ignored the areas I asked her to focus on AND i left feeling more stressed than when I arrived... I am not the type to leave negative reviews I think I have never done it before but even today i am still frustrated by the place and this is the only way I can find closure, lol. PEOPLE at MASSAGE ENVY learn customer service and put customers first, not TIPS. TIPS will come naturally when you provide a good service then you can stop begging for tips... p.s. Maybe there are some good and skillful therapists there... this was just my personal experience..

Very relaxing. I leave very relaxed. I enjoy a two hour massage. My last was with 2 therapist. I did not enjoy the reflexoligy massage. I like the deep tissue.

Great Place!!. I also have to disagree with the first review. I went to the Massage Envy in Squirrel Hill and it has a great atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and helpful! The only time my therapist talked was to ask if the pressure was too hard or to soft - they are completely concerned with your comfort. The membership program isn't confusing at all - and if you do have questions the staff is more than happy to help! Plus your membership is good across the US. I plan on going back every month to get a massage here. You can't beat the service - or the price!

Massage Envy = Best priced quality Massage in the City !!!!!. I have to disagee with the last review. Massage Envy in Squirrel Hill is heavenly, the staff is great, helpful and friendly. Massage Envy provides a relaxing environment as well as a quality massage. The therapists are experienced and able to cater to your every need. I leave Massage Envy feeling great every time. The therapists are able to perform fourteen different massage styles. Its worth the money...in fact its the best deal for a great massage in the city of Pittsburgh!

Massage envy = ripoff!. My friends and I went for a massage here after finals. If you want to be overcharged and ripped off, come get a massage here! They charged us for hour long massages when we were only given 40 minutes. Also, one of the massage therapists talked to my friend the whole time she was trying to relax, even going so far as to tell her she "liked her underwear". I called the manager about how upset I was and he was rude and argumentative. Good business is about reimbursing customers who do not receive the full value of what they pay for. He was rigid and unwilling to help me out, instead offering me an hour-long massage for $18 in the future (which probably would have only been 30 minutes). DO NOT GO HERE! THEIR HOUR-LONG INTRODUCTORY RATE OF $39.99 IS A SCAM! Pay the extra ten dollars and go to a massage business who will calm you down, not work you up!
