OBSESSSSSSEEEDDDDD!!!. This is THE BEST Mexican food I have ever had! And I have eaten at A LOT of Mexican joints! The guacamole tableside is an absolute must!!!!! I also recommend the super burrito! I will be back time and time again!

Best Mexican Food in Pittsburgh. I recently moved to Pittsburgh from Denver where there is a ton of really good Mexican food. Being Mexican I have grown up on excellent Mexican food all my life. I was dissapointed when there wasn't any good Mexican cuisine in Pittsburgh. Mexico city is the exception. The food is absolutely excellent. Very authentic, delicious, and great service. The taco's are superb. The guacamole is made tableside to whatever your preference. If you go right at noon it will be busy but every other time you should have plenty of tables available. I am a regular at Mexico City and everyone I have introduced to it now stop in everytime they are downtown. Another plus.... it's cheap!!!

Carne Asada Burrito...DO IT. Amazing....Enough Said. Great place for lunch. Get there early, it gets crowded. There is also one on Wood Street (aka Rodeo Drive of Pittsburgh). I like it eh' spicy.
