Bad Thai Food. Our dining experience here is not one we will repeat. From the drinks to the tapas nothing was right. Twice we were delivered the wrong drinks. We waited more than 25 minutes for our first tapas to arrive. One of our tapas, the chicken in pandanus leaf, was served still frozen. The steamed dumplings cold, but at least had been cooked sometime recently, and the fresh roll contained tofu, rice noodles, and iceberg lettuce, but not the Thai basil or mint that are the distinctive flavors of a fresh roll. The dipping sauce resembled Chines Hoisin sauce plopped from a jar. The bad food was coupled with slow, indifferent service. Too bad, the concept is good and the restaurant attractive.

Amazing tapas. The first time I went I was totally soured by my experience. I met up with a group an hour after they ordered and they had yet to receive the majority of their food. I ordered and was served at the same time they were, 1 1/2 hours after they got there. Our server was bad, only giving me water, silverware, and a menu at my request. The manager was apologetic about the wait, though, and gave us some free tapas to make up for it. I also kept in mind this was on a very busy Friday night.

My next experience completely made up for it. We were seated immediately, and we had all of our food very quickly. The staff was attentive and friendly. As before, the food was excellent. For 2 people who shared a salad, 5 tapas, and each had drinks and rice, the total bill with 20% tip was only $46...not bad at all for the atmosphere, which is very chic yet comfortable.

I recommend this place for dates, nicer nights out with friends, etc. Not the kind of place to go if you're in a rush. Food quality has never suffered, but if you go on a busy night prepare to wait.
