incredible!. I work as a barn aide in a summer camp and needed a helmet, helmet cover, and boots fast. I was driving home from the camp on a sunday and still didnt have my boots or helmet cover, I asked in the local Tractor Supply store (where I bought my helmet) where I might find these items and they recommended the Horse and the Hound. I called the number only to find they were closed on Sundays, but the owner drove to the store and opened it just for me to find what i need. She even stayed on the phone with me giving me directions as i drove. I was so pleased I ended up buying about $100 worth of items.

Great Inventory, Good Prices, Wonderful Coffee!. This is a great tack store! Not only are the essentials you need on the shelves, but the staff is willing to order anything unique. This is a huge store with an upstairs and a coffee/lunch bar if you need a break from shopping.

I've found quite a few good sales and the quality and selection of products is the best in the area.

Nice Gifts but Necessities are EXPENSIVE!. I love window shopping here but they really don't have enough of the necessities every horse owner really needs. And what they do have is EXTREMELY expensive. There is a new tack shop that is local but only online right now. They had they same steel curry that Horse and Hound wanted $17 for at the price of $5.25. Ridiculous markup! Even the same fly spray was several dollars more!

Fun to browse here, but better prices can be found elsewhere.
